Six hundred exhibitors are expected to turn up at Hillhead 2022, which returns June 21-23 to the UK for the first time in four years.

QMJ Group, which organizes Hillhead, projects up to 20,000 quarrying, construction and recycling professionals to attend the show. And while many of the exhibitors showing gear at Hillhead don’t market in the United States, a number do.
With that variable in mind, here’s a look at three manufacturers with a US presence, their Hillhead plans, and the gear they’ll be showcasing at the iconic show.

Anaconda Equipment will introduce a new crushing line in Europe by exhibiting the J12 jaw crusher.

According to Anaconda, the J12 is a mid-sized jaw that offers excellent initial feed material reduction, continuous production, and consistent product shape. It’s designed primarily for mining and mining applications, Anaconda says, and is made with a 28in. x 44 in. Universal jaw chamber.

Anaconda crushers feature a direct hydraulic drive system to reverse the jaw. The addition of the Cummins L9 performance engines offers excellent specifications, low fuel consumption and eliminates the need for exhaust gas recirculation, the company says.

Additionally, Anaconda will display the DF514 scalping screen. Anaconda says the DF514 has already proven itself in the European market as a reliable medium-sized scalping screen with multiple variants that allow it to suit different applications.

McLanahan Corp. will have its biggest display to date at Hillhead, with plans to showcase the UltraWash 6206 for the first time in Europe.

The UltraWash 6206 can be configured to produce up to three clean aggregates and two washed sand products, says McLanahan. It is part of McLanahan’s range of modular systems.

McLanahan says its modular designs can be sized and selected to meet a standard range of process requirements. Its factories are designed to be energy efficient and include maintenance features that make performing maintenance safer and easier. They can also be supplied with a control system that allows remote monitoring and adjustments.

Along with the UltraWash 6206, McLanahan’s decanter centrifuge – its latest residue management solution – will be in its Hillhead booth. According to the company, the decanter centrifuge offers an alternative to filters and belt presses, improves tailings management, helps eliminate settling ponds, improves water recovery and meets environmental regulations.

Hillhead attendees can also expect to see an UltraCrush modular cone crusher at the McLanahan stand, where company representatives will discuss the company’s extensive line of crushers and screens.

Wirtgen Group

The Wirtgen Group stand in Hillhead will focus on sustainable and economical solutions for earthworks, road construction and material processing.

Kleemann Mobicat MC 110(i) EVO2 jaw crusher, Mobicone MCO 90(i) EVO2 cone crusher and Mobiscreen MSS 802(i) EVO screening plant for coarse elements will make their UK debut, announced the society. The one-metre W 100 Fi milling machine from Wirtgen’s new range of compact milling machines will also make its Hillhead debut together with a John Deere 672 GP motor grader.
