The Union Bank of India, in association with the CII and the Federation of Indian Export Organizations, organized a session on exporting for the Punjab industry
The Union Bank of India, in association with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the Federation of Indian Export Organizations (FIEO), held an export session for the Punjab industry on Saturday evening.
The seminar was organized to raise awareness of the extent of exporting in the near future.
Chander Mohan Minocha, chief general manager of the international banking department, shared the bank’s vision for export.
Jagmohan Singh, Field General Manager, Chandigarh Zone, shared his perspective on the potential of Punjab while understanding the needs and challenges of exporters and chaired the panel discussion on “The Future of Exports in Punjab” at the Radisson Blu Hotel.
Ashpreet Singh Sahni, President of Ludhiana Zone (CII), shared his perspective on the challenges and opportunities available to exporters.
FIEO Regional President Ashwani Kumar said that with the right approach and the right investment, there are huge opportunities for exporters. He added that if they maintain the quality of their products, no country can refuse to import them.
AGM Rajesh Pillia made a presentation on union export programs.
