Paragon Medical Paves the Way for New Additive Manufacturing Plant in Pierceton, IN | Indiana


PIERCETON, Ind., September 23, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Paragon Medical, a global supplier of medical components and products, announced the inauguration of a new additive manufacturing facility in Pierceton, Indiana. Paragon Medical inaugurated the new facility today in the presence of local dignitaries including Joseph Thallemer, Mayor of Warsaw; David Rosenberg, executive vice-president of the IEDC; and Mary martin, regional director in the senator’s office Mike Braun.

Located on the existing campus at Pierceton, IN, Paragon Medical’s new additive manufacturing facility will provide 34,000 square feet of manufacturing and operating space when complete. The new additive manufacturing plant will be supported by an initial investment of $ 16 million with an additional planned investment of $ 19 million over the next five years. The investment will encompass the facility, printers, inspection and support equipment that will allow Paragon Medical to vertically integrate the entire additive manufacturing process, from powder to finished product. The facility will initially focus on manufacturing porous titanium implants and rapidly expand into other metals and polymers for various medical device applications.
