The President of the Association of Peruvian Exporters (Adex), Erik Fischer, affirmed that Peru has started to stand out as a global supplier of food products, taking the first places as an exporter of various products.

“Our country has started to stand out as a major global supplier, which means we are reaping the benefits of all Peruvians’ efforts,” he noted.

He also noted that Peru is the world’s second-largest exporter of canned grapes and asparagus, as well as the third-largest exporter of avocados and ginger.
“In this regard, we have decided to once again trust the Expoalimentaria fair – now in an online format – in which the participants will have a more agile and dynamic experience”, explained the head of Adex.

In addition, he expressed the will of his sector to contribute to the development of the country.

“Our association seeks to create spaces for governance; our members have the momentum to continue contributing and collaborating to the success that Peru demands and deserves, ”said Fischer.

In addition, the head of Adex said that the launch of the second agrarian reform will be a platform to continue to conclude agreements, in which Adex wishes to participate.
